Dr. Castro is trained in multiple specialties, including hematology, oncology, hospice, palliative care, and internal medicine. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from IberoAmericana University, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Dr. Castro completed his Internal Medicine residency and was the Chief Hematology/Oncology fellow at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. He also completed his Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship at Aventura Hospital.
Dr. Castro is passionate about providing quality and compassionate care to his patients and their families. His focus is working with patients to achieve their goals and promote overall health.
Dr. Castro speaks both English and Spanish to assist his patients better. He is excited to move to Central Florida and become a part of this growing community.
