Testicular

Testicular cancer occurs in the testicles, the two egg-shaped male reproductive organs responsible for the production of testosterone and sperm. Testicular cancer is rare but when it is found it is most commonly in males between the ages of 15 and 34. Some men are more at risk of developing the cancer if they have had abnormal testicle development, have had an undescended testicle or have a family history of testicular cancer.

If you have already been diagnosed with testicular cancer, there are multiple treatment options available to you including surgery, radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy. To find out what cancer treatment option is best for you, contact Mid Florida Cancer Centers today and one of our cancer specialists will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
