The goal of Men’s Health Month is to raise awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys.
I in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. This is one of the top 3 cancers in men, along with Lung and colorectal cancer. These are also the leading causes of cancer deaths in men. It’s so important to be proactive and get checkups.
Take action to be healthy. Encourage men and boys in your life to make their health a priority. Learn about steps they can take each day to improve health.
Eat Healthy, don’t smoke, exercise and get routine check ups with your doctor. Routine check ups are so important. And make sure to see a doctor any time something changes in your body. Don’t wait, you body is the only one you get. Take the best care of it you can. Your doctor can help you.
